2.5 Guitar with my sis

Hello again! This week has definitely been more successful than the last. My sister and I practiced more and I tried getting the concept down better. I tried a different song that required a tougher strumming pattern. This song was called "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Along with this I learned new cords. I also got to listen to what my sister was working on. It looked very complicated. She sounded really good. Listening to her play helps me know what it is supposed to sound like.

My goals for this week were to progress on getting strumming patterns down. I progressed more than last week at least. My goals have not yet been met, but I hope I will get it down in a couple weeks. I hope to also do cords without having to look down and pause the song. This week I ended up not having as many complications this week. Thankfully I didn't get as frustrated. All I need is a whole lot of practice.

My goals for next week are to practice a lot more. I hope to master at least one song without messing up. I also hope my strumming patterns start to sound better. Come back next week to possibly see some progress!

Below are examples of strumming patterns I have been practicing. It looks easy, but it is hard to do this while changing cords. It is also hard the elements all together to sound good.
