Guitar with my sis 2.6

    Oh hey there friends! Today marks the 6th week of my journey to learning to play the guitar. I can say it has gotten better, but definitely not where I want to be. Last week I practiced strumming patterns along with cords, and this week I continued to do this. I feel that it is important to master the fundamentals before getting to the more challenging aspects. 

    This week I started to improve a little. I have gotten through songs with very little pauses and mess ups. I wasn't able to practice as much as I wanted to this week due to everything that's been going on. I plan to get more time these upcoming weeks to practice. My sister and I play together at times, but normally she is just teaching me. I am still trying to perfect the basics of guitar. However, you have to start somewhere! One day I hope I can be as good as my sister. 

    My goals this week have been somewhat accomplished, but due to the little time getting to practice I wasn't able to accomplish all that I wanted. My solution to this will be making sure to practice at least 10 minutes before bed, and playing on the weekends. My goal for this upcoming week is to practice, practice, practice. I will still be learning cords, strumming patterns, and melodies. I will stick to the simpler songs, because I am not quite ready for the complicated ones.
